In short: WeSpark's office is in Houston, Texas. We work with Berlin and German brands remotely on amazon.de, seven hours behind Central European Time, covering your afternoon live. We do not have a Berlin office. Every engagement begins with an audit and a written plan and price.
What Berlin brands bring to Amazon
Berlin is Germany's start-up capital, and its consumer brands look like it: direct-to-consumer companies in food and drink, supplements and nutrition, natural cosmetics, sustainable fashion, home and design, baby products and consumer tech, many of them founded in the last ten years and many selling across the EU from day one. amazon.de is the largest Amazon marketplace in Europe and the natural anchor, with amazon.fr, amazon.it, amazon.es and amazon.nl reachable from the same Seller Central Europe account.
Selling on amazon.de has its own rules of the game. German shoppers read listings closely and expect precise, complete information: materials, dimensions, certifications, contents and the legally required product details. A listing translated from English usually fails not on grammar but on this expectation, and on search language, because German compound nouns and the terms shoppers actually type differ from a dictionary translation. Listings are written in German by people who sell in German, then verified for indexing the same way as any other.
Compliance sits alongside creative. Germany's packaging law requires registration with the LUCID register, EPR obligations apply to packaging and electricals, and Amazon enforces both by suspending non-compliant offers. VAT is charged at the German rate and registration is required for stock stored in Germany, and prices are displayed inclusive of VAT, so ACoS targets are set on the net price. Pan-European FBA moves stock between EU countries and triggers VAT registrations in each, which needs a decision before the first shipment, not after.
Working with a Houston team from Berlin
Seven hours means your 3 pm is our 8 am. Our team starts early so the German afternoon and the evening shopping peak on amazon.de are covered while we are at our desks. The weekly report arrives on a fixed day; the monthly strategy call is booked in your afternoon, usually between 15:00 and 18:00 CET. Amazon Ads reports in the marketplace's time zone, so bid schedules follow German time.
We work in your Seller Central Europe and Amazon Ads accounts as named users with permissions agreed in writing, which keeps your data under your control and your GDPR obligations intact. Where your brand also sells on amazon.com, the same team runs both, so what works in one marketplace is tested in the other.
