In short: WeSpark is based in Houston, Texas, and works with London and UK brands remotely on amazon.co.uk. We do not have a London office. Our team covers the UK morning, the six-hour difference means your afternoon is our morning, and every engagement starts with an audit and a written plan and price.

What London and UK brands bring to Amazon

London's consumer brands are strong in beauty and skincare, premium food and drink, tea and coffee, fashion and accessories, homeware, wellness and baby products, and a growing number sell on amazon.co.uk as their main online channel rather than their own site. Many are also the UK arm of a brand that sells in the US or across Europe, or a UK brand deciding whether to expand into amazon.com or amazon.de.

Selling on amazon.co.uk differs from the US in ways that matter for how we work. Prices shown to shoppers include VAT, so the margin behind an ACoS target is calculated on the net price, not the shelf price, and the profit model has to reflect it. Since Brexit, stock for the UK and stock for the EU move separately, so a brand selling in both needs UK FBA inventory and EU inventory planned as two supply chains with their own customs and VAT registrations. The UK's peak calendar is also its own: Prime Day in July, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, then a Christmas build-up that starts earlier than in the US and a Boxing Day and January sales period that US brands often miss.

Listings need British English, British units alongside metric, and British search language, which is not the same as the US version with spellings changed. "Trainers," "nappies," "plasters" and "kettle" are the terms shoppers type, and a listing indexed for the American words will not be found.

Working with a Houston team from London

The time difference works in your favor more than you might expect. Our team starts early so the UK afternoon is covered live, and because amazon.co.uk's busiest shopping hours are the UK evening, the campaigns are watched during our working day. The weekly report arrives on a fixed day; the monthly strategy call is booked in UK working hours, usually 2 pm to 5 pm your time.

We work in your Seller Central Europe account and your Amazon Ads account as named users with permissions agreed in writing, so your data stays under your control and your UK GDPR obligations are respected. Amazon Ads reports in the marketplace's time zone, so bid scheduling and dayparting are set on UK time, not ours.
