In short: WeSpark's office is in Houston. We work with Chicago and Midwest brands remotely, on Central Time, and we do not have a Chicago office. What you get is one team for Amazon advertising, listings and creative, a weekly report you can check, and a plan and price agreed in writing before you pay.
What Chicago brands bring to Amazon
Chicago's consumer economy is built on making things. The brands we speak with there are more likely to be manufacturers than marketers: food and confectionery companies with decades of grocery distribution, kitchen and housewares makers, tools and hardware, industrial and safety products sold to small businesses, pet and lawn-and-garden brands, and health products from the region's medical and pharmaceutical base. Many sell through Vendor Central as well as Seller Central, or have moved from one to the other, and many have large catalogs with variations that have grown untidy over the years.
That profile makes catalog structure the first conversation. A range of forty SKUs across sizes, colors and pack counts can either be one clean set of variation families that pool reviews and rank, or forty listings competing with each other and each one too weak to rank. Growing through the catalog, with variations, multipacks and bundles that cross-promote and raise order value, is often a bigger lever for a Chicago manufacturer than more ad spend on the hero product.
Grocery-distributed food brands have a second issue: pricing. A product sold through retailers at one price and on Amazon at another attracts resellers onto the brand's own ASINs, and the Buy Box goes to whoever is cheapest. We handle that through Brand Registry where the product is counterfeit or materially different, and through distribution terms where it is genuine, rather than by chasing the price down.
Working with a Houston team from Chicago
Chicago and Houston share Central Time, so there is no offset to manage. The weekly report arrives on the same day each week, the monthly strategy call is booked in your working hours, and stock, suppression and budget alerts are watched during the hours your customers shop. Quarterly reviews can be in person; Houston is a short flight, and we are glad to make it for the accounts where a room full of people beats a screen.
For manufacturers we set up the profit model early, with cost of goods and FBA fees per SKU, so the advertising plan reflects the real margin after fulfillment. We work in your own Seller Central and Amazon Ads accounts as named users, with permissions agreed in writing.
