Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display are available on amazon.ca with bids and budgets in Canadian dollars; cost per click is typically lower than amazon.com, and campaigns for French-language terms need French keywords and creative.

WeSpark runs Amazon PPC management for brands selling on amazon.ca: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Sponsored TV campaigns: audited before we spend, restructured around your goal, optimised weekly and reported in plain language. The same named team, the same weekly reports and the same written scope and price before you pay, applied to the Amazon Canada marketplace in CAD (C$) and in English and French (French required for Quebec).

What is different about Amazon Canada

Canadian shoppers face higher delivery costs from the US and notice Prime eligibility more; moving from NARF to FBA Canada usually lifts conversion because of faster delivery promises.

  • Tax and compliance: Canada charges GST at the federal level and HST or provincial sales taxes depending on the province; Amazon collects and remits on many orders by non-registered non-resident sellers, but holding stock in Canada or exceeding thresholds can require your own GST/HST registration, so check the current requirement in Seller Central and with a Canadian adviser.
  • Fulfilment: North America Remote Fulfillment lets US FBA stock serve Canadian orders with no separate inventory; FBA Canada, with stock held in Canadian fulfillment centers, gives Prime delivery speeds and lower shipping cost once demand is proven.
  • Peak events: Prime Day in July, Black Friday and Cyber Monday in late November, and Boxing Day on December 26, which is a larger event in Canada than in the US; Canadian Thanksgiving in October has less retail weight than the US holiday.
